I was born in Portugal and grew up there, but my first language is German. In kindergarten, I began to learn both Portuguese and English. I completed my GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) at the English International School of Sao Lorenzo. Subsequently, I attended high school for three years in Münster, Germany, graduating from A levels.
I am also a trained musician and was an avid guitar player as a child. I studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford (UK) for two years, graduating in 2009. Eventually, however, I realised the high-stress and high-pressure of a career in the music industry wouldn’t make me happy and decided to pursue other interests. When my father invited me to join him in his company, I saw a fantastic opportunity to do something really positive with my life.
I began by promoting Swiss Harmony in England, where I live. Since then, we have expanded our company to include the U.S. market and I am now responsible for overseeing Swiss Harmony’s English-speaking market.
Joining Swiss Harmony has been a wonderful and deeply satisfying experience. At Swiss Harmony, I’ve found a job that fulfils me emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually. At the same time, it gives me great pleasure to know that, when I help to bring harmony into the homes of our clients, I am also helping them to change their lives in a positive way.
Since I began working with my father, Swiss Harmony has become more and more widely known and our client base has continued to grow. International requests require flexibility, the desire and ability to travel, strong organisational skills, and an aptitude for negotiation. Building an international brand and meeting new people every day is both challenging and stimulating. These challenges, and the satisfaction of knowing that Swiss Harmony’s products can help effect positive change are the reasons I get up each morning feeling enthusiastic and motivated by the day ahead.
